I think that most people will agree that samearing the stuff on silicone is not really a good way of puting stuff on the foam. What i did in my imitators tank was to mix 1 or 2 parts concrete primer stuff, 2 parts ground coconut bedding, and 2 parts milled peat. Then spread this on with your hands or what ever. It works really good and looks nice too.
