All of those were taken through the glass. With the lens right on the glass, so you do not get any reflections from the glass. One problem that some people have is that the lens on their camera moves, so putting it on the glass can be a pain because you might have to pull it off to zoom in or out. The new Sony camera will do this, and it is one of the things I am not happy about. I use a Sony F707 right now, and for a couple of those I used close-up lenses/filters. I also use the internal flash on the low setting so I do not get too much light. I also in some cases diffuse the flash with a piece of plastic or paper. I have a better flash, but for the frogs I have had the best luck with the internal flash. One thing to remember is that out of a 5 megapixel camera these pictures are huge. So I can crop out what I want, and that helps a lot. I'll have to post a larger one some time so people can really see the detail, as it is hard to see sometimes in the smaller pictures, and most people do not run their monitors in a high enough resolution to get best look at it anyways.
I've been thinking about selling prints of some of my pictures, as they really print nice.
