The only heaters that are truly moisture-proof and splash-proof are Kane and Stanfield heat mats. Kanes are available from www.beanfarm.com and Big Apple Herp. They aren't cheap but are the best heat mats around for larger animals. They don't flex, they don't heat under the mat, and they are covered in a HDPE shell that can be washed with a sponge and soapy water when necessary. They are big. I think the smallest is 18x18 inches.
