My tokay loves her hideaway log but she doesn't spend too much time in it--just sometimes. I seen mine drink out of a bowel of water so I use an inverted reptile water dish; however, most tokays WON'T drink from a bowel but only lick water so daily misting is necessary.

Good luck with your tokay. After six or eight months mine started trusting me...now she's a pussycat. Loves to be handfed, enjoys attention, does not mind being held...in fact if I don't give her attention she will turn dark! until I give her some attention and talk to her like a baby then she's back to her regular usual colours.

Last night I forgot to close the terrarium cover...next morning tokay STILL in there. Gawd I was lucky

so i'll use a 40 watt red bulb, the REAL bed-a-beast, fake plants, and fluker's temp.& humidity gauge.

The reason why i chose plexi-glass is because my grams has a friend who cuts slabs of plexi-glass. She uses it for her counter top as a cutting board. But anyway, it holds humidity. I'll only use it on the 2 sides
