Probably a bacterial infection. Now, a sterile paper substrate should be used until the problem is resolved. I believe the recommended treatment is a Neo/Polysporin ointments applied topically on the infected skin. You can probably clean the under-belly first with Nolvasan or Betadine.



Meretseger or Oldherper may know of better techniques for treatment.
