Nope. Every vet i've met around here hasn't even mentioned it. In fact, i wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even know such a law existed. In fact, had i not read mentions of this law by other posters on this forum in previous years, i wouldn't have even known there was such a law...
I guess what i'm saying is, obey and observe it if you feel it necessary. More important, in my humble opinion, is to prevent your monitor, regardless of species or size, from escaping or threatening the public in any way.. as in, don't drag the poor critter down to the boardwalk, don't stand in intersections with it draped across your shoulders, and don't house it in anything that it could escape from. By being responsible, we can help keep our monitors out of the eleven o'clock news and out of most people's heads.
And i'm not accusing you of being irresponsible or anything, just throwing out a few considerations you probably already share...
