There is no real set time as to when your monitor should be fed. I feed mine in the evening because that's when it's easiest for me to spend that much time. The only feeding schedule that I use is they get fed certain food items on a certain day. What your doing is fine. Savs don't care what time they get food just as long as they get it.

Sorry it's not a definative answer but this is what I know.
