I recently aquired a western hognose snake from a friends mother about 3 months ago, and I am very worried about it's size. It is less than a foot long and about 2.5 years old! The woman i got it from had it as a hatchling and gave it away to some people after a few months. about 2 years later the people didn't want her anymore and when the woman got her back it had barely grown! SHe got it feeding and it started gaining weight. She than gave it to me after about 3 months and i have been working with it since. It is in a 40 breeder w/ plenty o cover and for the first 2 months it was eating 2 fuzzies every week. Recently it stopped. (Hibernation?) I was wondering if its growth may be stunted. Will it ever reach full size? And do you think this could have affected its breedability? (I think thats a word). thanks in advance for the posts! ______BEn HOKsch
