I get 75 watt GE Halogen bulbs at a walmart for a few of the tanks I use fluorescent uvb bulbs on. I do like the light/heat they give off more then incandescence, and they seem to last a lot longer, or are at least sturdier. I dropped the dome a few times and the bulbs where fine. I know if it was a regular bulb it would have blown. Like the hundreds that have in the past, lol. This maybe a way to save quite a few bucks rather then paying the extra money for a nice wrapper with pics of reptiles on them. Don't get me wrong I think zoomed uvb lights are the best you can get, but for just normal heating uses go with regular cheaper brands instead of reptile bulbs it saves money for the same light, and use | ||
