I'm guessing that you are referring to the Pilbara python (& not the Pilbara monitor). I'm not a snake expert per-se, but were the eggs fertile (candled)? Were the eggs gently moved into the moistened vermiculite in the same orientation as they were layed?If the abovementioned items were followed, the only other things that would affect development would be temperature & humidity levels.
