Paper towels work great for my baby leo. If you scroll back a few pages in the forum, there are about a dozen different threads on substrates ranging from 'is this okay' to 'poll: post your substrate'. Some of it's interesting reading. Not as controversial as the "Is this a Stripe" posts, but still a good read (scroll down a bit, you'll see what I mean)



The general consensus is: avoid granular, loose substrates and stick with paper towels/newspaper/slate, especially when they're young.
