Rat tubs Big picture warning!

I made my last set of tubs out of mortar mixing tubs ($4)with 1/2" hardware cloth tops ($1 or so for the hardware cloth and $1 for the 1" X 2". I also put feed hoppers in mine. Don't do this if you want to use them in a rack system. They won't slide out. I have only been keeping 2 or 3 tubs, so I just stack them on top of each other.



Here's a pic of the corner of an old top to go by. I don't use sterlite tubs anymore because of chewing problems. I don't wrap the hardware cloth around the edges either, lost too much blood.
