Posted by: Passport at Thu Nov 6 20:53:21 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Passport ] He'll turn up. I have been ever so careful not to allow any escapees. But, it's happened to me four times anyhow. Sometime when you least expect it you'll look down and there he will be. That's what happened to me every time. One was a w/c Texas Ratsnake, one was a Speckled Kingsnake hatchling and twice was an adult Western Hognose. The longest one missing was the Texas Ratsnake. Found him when I was moving. I had cleaned out all my closets expecting to find him there since I found poop. But to my amazement I found him in the washing machine AFTER I had washed a hugh load of heavy rugs. Poor thing. He was still alive too. He wasn't in the rugs because I shook them out first so he must have been in the washer under the agitator or up under the rim. I couldn't believe that he would've survived such an ordeal. They certainly know how to hide. Let us know when you come across him. | ||
