You want one that has a ‘probe’ (long wire with a temperature sensing device on the end). You place the probe on the bottom of the cage, above the Under Tank Heater. You are aiming for 90 degrees of belly heat, this normally requires a UTH that has, or is plugged into a rheostat (dimmer). It’s really ideal to have everything setup and calibrated before you consider buying your gecko, waiting is always the hardest part. Let us know if you have any more questions or concerns. | ||
