The first thing to consider is, do you really want a room-sized enclosure? Especially if you think you might get a second, it would be a lot easier to find room for a second snake. And you have to take into consideration that it is substantially easier to keep proper heat and humidity in a smaller cage.



I'm not sure of the bathtub water bowl. I understand it will be a lot easier to fill, but I would be worried if he decides to take a big burm-sized poo in the tub. I personally would rather have something I could take out and hose down and disinfect easier.



PVC - I don't know how you would go about securing it, or how much use it would get, but the folks at corallus.com have found a way to make it more natural-looking using a torch.
