They are pulse proportional temperature CONTROLLERS. The micro processor will make the controller pulse faster the further away you get from your set temperature, slower as it nears the set temp and will stop pulsing completely once it has reached the set temp. That is what makes them so accurate (within .5 degrees). They're not made for lights, for obvious reasons, but for heat tape, panels, ceramic heat elements, etc. | ||
