I offer mine full spectrum lighting as I cannot offer natural sunlight to them. I do take them outside when I have good enough temperatures. They are also supposed to be cooled like colubrids when they are closer to breeding age. I have not gone that low with mine and have treated them similar to my jungle carpet pythons going into the low 70's for breeding attempts this year. They are cooling right now and I expect to pair up my adults around Xmas time. I also have a juvi male (I will attach a picture of him). They are spectacular looking animals and so far I have not encountered any of the problems associated with Diamonds. I hope to get some eggs in the spring and have some babies for sale in the late spring early summer. Thanks for the nice comments. Frank Kincade. | ||
