power outage; what do you do?

Hi everyone, i was doing some preparatory thinking today, and ran into an interesting question. I am in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and it gets pretty cold here. If my power were to go out for an extended period, what should i do? How do i keep my reptiles warm? n e ideas? Thanks
