anery boa?

Ipicked up a boa few months ago and wanted to know if anyone can tell me if it is a anery or not.its a male about 6 to 7 foot long has no red,very dark tail pretty much black,his head color is really light rest of body is fairly light.the strip that goes through his eyes disappears before his eyes.can you help?I can try to post a picture but im new to this so im not sure if it will work.thank you
