Australia is the only continent (or country) in the world that has more species of venomous snakes than it does non-venomous. As far as the best place to live, I cannot answer that one, as I have not visited all of the places that I would consider living in. I have, however, done some time on the West German/Czech border, I can tell you this: Twelve foot high electrified fences are not erected to keep one's neighbors out. With all our flaws, I find it hard to believe there is a Nation better, all things considered, than this one.
