I'm very sorry to hear this...
Maybe you should take him to the vet and see if they can determine the cause of death? How old was he, by the way? If he was older I would just assume old age/ailments, but if he was young, might be something to worry about. What kind of substrate do you use? Crushed walnut or corn cob can rip open the uro and cause internal bleeding if ingested. I read somewhere that sand can cause impactions, but I think only in young uros. I'm not sure, I don't have alot of experience (thankfully) with uro deaths...
