Hmmmmmm. It's really hard to say. It'd be an interesting jury to be on, that's for sure...although I think my stomach would void itself of its contents on multiple occassions if I had to listen to genuine evidence of child molestation.
First off...I think any parent who would allow their child to go and stay over at MJ's place should be reviewed by their local child welfare offices!
As for Michael...let's see. He has a genuine fondness for children, we just can't see how deep or twisted that fondness might or might not run. He believes he is above the law and somehow separate from the rest of society. Just those two facts would (and do) keep me from even buying any of his music, much less allowing children to visit him, supervised or otherwise. But he has already been accused of this in the past, and instead of facing it, he paid the family(ies?) off.
Is it possible that this is just more families hoping for a big payoff from an innocent man? Possible. But it is also just as likely that he believes seeking "solace, comfort and affection" from children is somehow OK for him because he's "special."
