Okay, this little project I'm contemplating is really a couple of years off but I'd like some input anyway. I have an adult pair of snow corns (the male a pinkish snow corn, the female more the yellowish variety) and a yearling pair of really nice normals where the female has very little black and very bright reds and oranges. What I'm wanting to try is to breed the male snow (with his pinkish tones) to my hypoish normal female (when she's old enough) to see if I can get even more pinkish tones in the eventual snow offspring. Here's where I get a little confused. I know the first generation would look normal and should all be double-het for snow. When breeding that generation BACK to itself shouldn't I get at least some snows? And possibly ones that will develope the tones I'm looking for? And yes, I have Kathy Love's manual and plan to re-read through it over the weekend. lol I guess I'm just not sure because of the whole double-het thing and how that operates.

Thanks for any input!
Raven
