I have a female beardie, she is about 11 months old. When first aquiring her I had a heating pad that was attached to the underside of the glass tank. When she out grew the small tank I placed her in a much larger tank and did not put the heating pad on the larger tank, just recently I placed the heating pad back on the tank for her. She loves it....Only thing is she is moving the pad that I have down on the tank and laying on the GLASS ONLY right above the heating pad. Will this burn her? She is not laying directly on the pad as the pad is attached to the underside of the glass, but still she is laying directly on it..... is she alright doing this?

ALSO...I am new here and was reading through the posts and noticed that everyone is feeding fruit to their beardies.....I HAD NO IDEA YOU COULD DO THIS. Anything I read on the food issue did not mention fruit, nor did any pet stores that I visit to buy her live feeders...I would love to introduce her to fruit but have only read about Apples on this board......Anything else besides apples? Also with the apples....Do I need to remove the skin?

One more thing.....Is it alright to bathe her nightly....I have her on a schedule nightly. I fill the tub abit with luke warm water, put her in and she does her business in the tub....Rarely will she poop in her cage anymore, just the tub......Just want to make sure that soaking her nightly is not a NO NO

Lisa
