If you drop it in water it breaks up very easily. It actually has made spot cleaning easier for me, because it clumps. They do ingest by accident once in a while and seem to have no problem with it. I would think it is close to impossible for this product to cause impaction, I feel the same way about sand, which I raise my babies on. More often than not a case of impaction is caused by something lacking in other aspects of husbandy such as temps. and hydration, rather than the substrate the animal is kept on. | ||
