For the last 2 years she's been a freeroamer in the converted basement, basking on top of one of the large cages by day, sleeping up in the dropped ceiling at night. I haven't actually handled her in those 2 years except for the occasional light body scratches while she's feeding, at which time she would hiss and gape at me a little bit. This past weekend we did an educational expo and I wanted to take several species of Iguana. I decided to take CeCe along. I lured her over with a couple of superworms so that I could actually grab her and I brought her up for a nice bath and claw clipping. Once she was in hand she was well behaved and quite calm. I spent some "quality" time with her and I'm feeling quite guilty that I haven't appreciated her beauty and charm for all this time. I've always enjoyed having her here but now I just have a new appreciation for her. | ||
