Was the Pseudomonas shown to be sensitive to Amikacin and Enrofloxacin that combination should have worked. Tylan is usally used for mycoplasmosis and is not shown to be effetive on pseudomonas. I would use a drug that the pseudomonas is shown to be sensitive to (there are many resistant strains out there). Ceftazidime and Piperacillin are often very effetive.



The correct dosage however for Tylan is 5 mg/kg IM q24h X 10-60d
