Very interesting posts of late! My new cage is made of plywood, and only has about 4 inches of dirt so far. The temps are about 110 degrees F under the basking light, but my 3 mali's aren't coming out. At night it goes down to 70 degrees F. Can you attach heat tape to plywood? And where do you get it? I am hoping to add more soil soon. I really didn't want these guys to brumate just yet. Also, I will block off the top some more to keep in more heat.

Any other suggestions?
