Can someone please explain rack systems to me please?

I have seen pictures of people who keep multiple corn snakes in rack systems with tubaware tubs in them. I would like to get one sometime in the near future but i really do not know any thing about them.(where to buy,how to heat, etc...) i would really appreciate it if people could take pics of theirs and explain it to me.
