I have found that the mess is very minimal. I have a budgie and he makes enough mess for a whole house full of animals, not to metion a big 90 pound rotti pup who does his fair share, and then the cats who get into everything that the dog knocks around. So in comparison, give me my Cham anyday. I clean his cage every other day and every 4 days really well, in thses couple of days theres not that much poop.



And like in the other reply to your message they are hard little ovals with the urates (thats the pee) that are a almost solid white poop. they do both at the same time. It dries and is very easy to clean. Kinda like bird poop but its not flung about the house every where.



When I take my cam out to sit on his basking perch tree, I just put paper towel or newspapers down around it. He goes in the same spot everytime.
