If there are eggs, you will feel them. A first year breeder may have a second clutch if she is in good condition and recovers quickly from her first clutch. A second breeding is not necessary because she may have retained sperm. Also, sperm retention is much longer than a couple of weeks. Check it out in the book "Keeping and Breeding Snakes". There are documented cases of a year and much longer. | ||
