as was said: take care that they can *NOT* get to the bulbs.

BD's are very "atracted" to a bright light.... and will sometimes do very odd things to get to the light.



when I try to get my guy to sleep sometimes he starts going ape if he sees a light outside of his cage that he can't get to...



other times he tries to jump up INTO his UVB florecent tube...

and it's not that bright even..... :-/ he gets really ticked when he cant get the light to let him in



also you may want to add some light to the new cage.... as above:

they are drawn to the brightest part of the cage when they can "see" a bright area...... it may be that you need to add just one normal florecent strip to "even out" the light levels... so that the bright basking area does not "stand out" to them as the place where the sun is at.... if you get what I mean?
