>>i was going to get 100 small pinkies and 50 weanlings, so that would be 50 for each snake..is that too much? can frozen mice "go bad" in the freezer? also, how much room would this take up? one more-this would cost 60 bucks(20 for shipping, and 20 for each bag) is there a cheaper way? thanks.

That works out to 0.40 per mouse which is certainly cheaper than the pet store. 50 weanlings will take up about the same amount of space as a couple of T Bone steaks. I try to not keep more than 6 months supply on hand at a time. You can probably keep mice in the freezer longer than that but it would be better if you didn't have to.
To get mice cheaper than that the trick is simple, buy in bigger quanities. The price of the mice will go down and your freight cost per mouse will go down as well. The down side is then you have to buy more snakes. Then you need more mice. Then you need more snakes, mice snakes mice snakes.......help I can't stop.
Ofcourse the cheapest solution of all is raise your own mice. ----- Wade's Weptiles & Wodents
