Posted by: stratchick at Thu Dec 4 17:19:48 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by stratchick ] I have noticed 2 or 3 mites on my hatchling corn and so want to begin treatment now (I'd prefer avoiding the use of pesticides and go with the soak and cage/accessory disinfection approach) but I am hesitant for two reasons: 1) The snake has cloudy eyes and is about to shed. I heard that their skin is fragile in this state and they shouldn't be handled much (?) 2) I've only had the snake for under a week (about 4 days) and am concerned about stressing it too much so early on. |
