Egg Eating

I definitely don't visit here as often as I should, but judging by the commotion made early this spring, my bull snakes should have mated. I'm so far behind in my learning, but I have a worry. If bull snakes eat eggs, could the male eat the eggs of the female? Should I separate them? They both have grown nicely in the last two years and the females skin was two inches short of eight feet this spring. I wonder how long she really is? I hope someone will comment on a eating! Thank you,
