There are 2 possibilities depending on your female.

If she is a het. (you have a 66% chance of this happening) you will get 25% albino babies, 50% het. babies and 25% normal babies.

If she isn't a het. (you have a 33% chance of that happening) you will get 50% het babies and 50% normal babies.

That's were the problem comes in. You can't look at your normals and hets. and tell which is which. Just like you can't tell what your female actually is, and what the outcome will be.

If you do produce an albino baby at some time, then you know your female is also a 100% het. If you don't produce an albino baby, you will have to breed her many times in order to make sure that she is in fact a normal. Just because 25% of the babies will be albinos doesn't mean that one of the first four will be! You could theoretically produce 15 normal looking babies in a row and then produce 5 albinos in a row after that. (Or even 30 normal looking babies in a row and then 10 albinos in a row.) You wouldn't want to find this out after producing 15 normal looking babies, and then selling her to someone who would then produce 5 albinos would you? While this isn't too likely, it could happen.
