I have several dozen snakes presently but no ball pythons. It has been my expeirience that they generally prefer not to eat untill several days after finishing a shed. There is no problem if they eat right away however. I have a few pigs who eat even during shed. This time of year, they may be less tempted to eat as it is cooler weather.
