I think it has generally failed to prove genetic for those who have tried so far. However people keep trying and maybe some day a line will prove. I have heard of a few people who report to have animals that show some of the Classic Jungle traits (usually pattern) and have seen some tendency for it to show up in the babies but I haven't seen real good documentation on that.



Here is one I hatched last year from a normal looking 50% chance het stripe to a normal female. I’ll probably try breeding him next year just in case ...
