Payment Plans?

I'm interested in purchasing some morphs next spring and was wondering if anyone has purchased ball pythons through a payment plan? How do these work? Lets say that I want to buy an albino for $2500 and can spare $200 a month (paying it off fully within a year). Is there a credit background check? Contract to be signed? I wouldn't like to wait the whole year before I see my purchase, but I know breeders need to protect themselves. Also what can I do to protect myself if I go through with a payment plan?



If any hobbyists have purchased through a payment plan can reply, I would be greatly appreciative. If any breeders would like to respond either publicly or privately their payment plans to me, you might have a potential customer.
