BABY BALLS HAVE TICKS!!!! HELP!!!!!!

Well, these little ones have ticks. I need to know the safest and fastest way to clear this up. I have heard that slathering them (the bps) up with mineral oil will suffocate the little guys and that they will back out. Is this true, is this safe?? Thanks everybody!
