Ball pythons are great snakes to keep. Adults will get from 3 1/2 feet to 5 1/2 feet depending on whether male or female (females are usually larger). Their care is not as easy as a corn snakes but not too difficult if you follow a good care sheet. For a hatchling, a 10 gallon enclosure is good, a juvenile would take a 20 gallon enclosure, and an adult would need a 30 gallon enclosure. Captive breed ball pythons are usually calm. Hatchlings may be a little nippy but not much. They are usually calm and easy to handle. My advice to you is to look up "ball python care sheets" (put that in your search engine). Read all that you can. Information varies a little.
