Fake Rocks Question

I have seen some ideas on this site for creating a fake rock environemtn for habitats - and am wanting to build something light - so probably styrofoam/tile adhesive/expandable foam. I would also like to include a basking area on the fak rock (for a beardie temps 100-115) so am concerned with heat deteriation/melting etc. Anybody got experience/recomendations.
