The US has been in the embarassing position of asking for help from a lot of the countries whose wishes we ignored when we decided on a pre-emptive war with Iraq. We've been back to the UN asking for help and, believe it or not, while the Bush Press man was announcing our unwillingness to share in the re-building, we had administration officials in Europe asking those same countries to reduce or dissolve Iraq's debts to them, and trying to raise funds for the re-building. How do you think that came across? | ||
