The extra piece of melamine will be easy to find; Lowe's sells pieces in 2x2 and 2x4 pieces as well as full sheets. Just check where the shelving(finished, not pine board shelving) is located as that is where it is in the Lowe's I am employed at.
The flexwatt is going to be run down the back, taped to a pegboard sheet I am going to add as soon as I get it cut. It will be run by a dimmer and a thermostat.
The tubs are 32qt sterilite's that I got from Target. They measure 23 3/8"x15 5/8"x6".
