Cutting Melamine

If you do not have access to a saw, Lowe's and Home Depot both have panel saws that are very accurate(as long as the person using it is competent) and usually charge only 25 cents per cut, I know we give 2 free to begin with. It does chip the edging a little, but it is very minor.
