I have my beardies on the non slip shelf liners also but since they love to dig, I put bran boxes in their enclosures. Problem solved. They love the bran boxes. Now I have a problem with my two Saharan's. They were purchased from Doug Dix who highly recommends using millet seed as a substrate. That was great and all in the beginning, but now that they are both brumating I have to check them everyday and removed lodged seeds from their mouths. One uro had such a nasy indentation in his lower lip from a seed that I could actually see his teeth. It was like a hole in his mouth at the very tip. It the size of a millet seed and he could stick his tongue out through the hole. [ Hide Replies ]
