There were quite a few individuals in your story, so I just want to make sure I got it right. Your male het (for albino?) bit another het (for ?) male, or did he bite a female? Could you clarify?



Is that you in the photo? That’s a great looking snake! Have you ever weighed or tried to measure her?



Thanks for posting that information about the combat. I have not personally witnessed biting between ball pythons. I appreciate hearing about such things. I’m not a huge fan of requiring male snakes to duke it out in our typical captive situations. I previously posted a few of my reasons for that here (forums.kingsnake.com/viewarch.php?id=133965,135916&key=2003).



By the way, I don’t think I’d call that male “homophobic.” Sounds like he’s just a big-time heterophile.
