I've pretty much given up on any handling. In the first month and a half she never once walked onto my hand or even budged when my hand was in the tank. She would never come out when i was around. I heard that handling increased activity so I started holding her for about 5 minutes a day. That seemed to make things worse so i gave up on handling after about two weeks of that. That doesnt really matter to me, i'm not big on handling anyway. Its been a month since i last handled her. She is more skittish than ever. I hardly ever see her out. It is getting extremely frustrating when i walk into my room and glance at the tank only to see my gecko dart to the nearest hide. She just scrambles as fast as she can. It is so frustrating because i just want her to be able to do what she wants when she wants. I feel like she cant be free because of her fear. She eats and everything, temps are right, vet visit went well and she has no parasites, she's on papertowels with two hides, water and food dish. There seems to be nothing i can do to help but i feel bad because she's in so much fear. Any suggestions on how to make her feel comfortable?? Sorry about the long post. | ||
