I use the flash with relatively little washout problems. When it's important to judge colors though, I often place a color wheel (you can get these at paint stores) in the shot when I take a picture. This way someone looking at the picture has some standard to judge washout / enhancements.



I've never noticed any adverse reactions to a flash before.
