RE: heating for my blood

You know, 150 watts for a bulb sounds like a hell of a lot for a cage 3.5 feet high, if that is the size of the cage. My boa is in a

similar sized cage and I use a 75 watt infrared night bulb and his temps are over 95 directly under the light. Anyways, the bulbs dry the cage out, which is not good for a blood. What I have found best for heating bloods is undercage heater or a heat mat or the like.
